    So, so, so, powerful. Wow.
When I was around 10 years old and struggling to understand fractions and decimals, my father, who was good at math and supposed to help me to be better at math, would become easily frustrated by my confusion. Too many times I heard, “You DUMMY!” So, I proved him right – in math, anyway. God gave me a love for writing, thank goodness, so at least I could excel there. But, for all these 40+ years and one college degree from a prestigious university later, I cannot seem to live past the “You DUMMY” words that were etched into my soul. Sticks and stones, as painful as they are, have nothing on words. Nothing.
Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful video.
